Hello Tansi Bonjour Kumusta
The most important work the South West District for Culture, Recreation, and Sport can do is meet with the organization and its leaders that are doing the amazing work of delivering programs in their communities.
Through these meetings we can help identify potential funding opportunities, suggest programs and partnerships that might be a good fit and offer both accessible and affordable training opportunities.
Now, more than ever, we are working with community volunteers throughout the districts that are navigating a new way of programming and striving to re-engage both participants and volunteers.
Meetings are a great opportunity for organizations to connect, meet with each other and have real conversations about what is working and what isn’t working in their communities. Through these discussions, we break down silos, share solutions, and often look at challenges and successes with a fresh set of eyes. Testing123.
The South West District is one of seven districts throughout the province. As an organization funded by the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund, we regularly connect with Sask Culture, Sask Sport and Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association.
The South West District acknowledges its home on Treaty 4 territory and the homeland of the Métis. Together we offer our respect to the First Nations and Métis People who call this land home – and we reaffirm our Treaty relationship.
