Good HR – Do’s and Don’ts for hiring youth.

Karen Richmond, of Karen Richmond Consulting, is passionate about youth employment opportunities and maximizing their chance of success. She will provide an overview of the do’s and don’ts for orientating young people to their job. When working with young people, there is value in not only setting them up for success in their summer job, but future employment opportunities as well.

Karen’s presentation will be followed by a facilitated roundtable discussion that will dive deeper into the recruitment and retention of lifeguards.

This session is happening concurrent to the Community Recreation Gathering in Assiniboia.
