The South West District for Culture, Recreation  and Sport works with the Saskatchewan Games Council, the Host community and the Provincial Sport Governing Bodies to make the Saskatchewan Games program a success every two years.

The SWDCRS helps promote the Games, spreading the word about sport opportunities and play downs, as well as bringing a team of Mission Staff to oversee Team South West during the week-long event.
